Ryokan with 150-year history in Yamashiro Onsen

Tachibana Shikitei is located in Yamashiro Onsen, the Kaga area of southwestern Ishikawa Prefecture. We were established in the center of the town in 1868. Generations have visited and many continue to come there to relax and enjoy the charming atmosphere.
Ymashiro Onsen is a hot springs in the Kaga area in Ishikawa Prefecture. About 500 years ago, Yamashiro Onsen was much favored by warlords and has been loved by writers, poets, and painters. The red lattice windows and lanterns help the town retain its feeling of a historical resort spa.

Paulownia Floor, Comfortable for Your Feet

The floor of the lobby is made of boards from the paulownia tree. Upon entering the lobby, the pleasing scent of paulownia welcomes you. In summer, walking on the paulownia floor with bear feet is soothing and has a fresh aroma. This is the only lobby in Japan made entirely with paulownia wood flooring.
